Service Animal Policy
We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees at the Conference. As such, we kindly remind you that only Service Animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Pennsylvania 2018 Act 118 (Assistance and Service Animal Integrity Act), are allowed inside the Convention Center during the event. Please note that ‘therapy,’ ‘assistance,’ or ’emotional support’ animals do not meet the definition of Service Animals and are not permitted.
To ensure compliance with this policy, KEMA and the Blair County Convention Center reserve the right to request medical documentation related to the owner’s disability, documents showing the animal’s training or certification, and a demonstration of the animal performing a task. We understand the importance of Service Animals to their owners and appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance of the Conference. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
